General fund
Regular ongoing giving is directed here and supports the ongoing ministry of Riverside Church, including worship, staff, ministries, and day-to-day operations.
Community Care Fund
Provides practical support for individuals and families facing hardship in our church and community.
Missions
Supports gospel ministry through local outreach, church planting, and global mission partners.
Building Fund
Invests in future building projects that expand our ability to serve our church and community.
WHY
We give as an act of worship.
Throughout Scripture, God's people respond to His grace by offering back to Him a portion of what He has first given them. We don't give because God needs our money. We give because we love God and have experienced the generosity of God in Jesus Christ.
We give as an act of participation.
God has called his disciples to be an active part of his Body, the church. When we give, we are taking ownership for the ongoing ministry, mission, and obligations of our church family.
We give as an act of formation.
Money has a unique hold in the human heart. Because of how sin affects each of us, we’re tempted toward greed, comfort, and self-preservation. The act of giving is a spiritual discipline by which we join the Holy Spirit in his transforming work to shape us into the image of our generous God.
WAYS
Cash and cheques
May be put in an envelope and placed in the offering plate or offering box. You may request your own personal envelopes for ongoing giving.
E-Transfer
Your giving can be sent through e-transfer to giving@riversidepei.ca
Online Giving
You can give a one-time or reccurring gift by credit card through the Church Center App.
Auto-Withdrawl
Email our treasurer to be sent a form to set up recurring automatic withdrawal from your bank account.
